Will your school ruin your prom? ...

Over the years, the popularity of proms has grown to record levels. Some schools have been organising proms for years and have got it down to a fine art whilst others are new to the game and havn't got a clue!!! One mistake that hundreds of schools around the country make each year, time and time again is that they don't talk to other schools in their area about when their prom date is. This causes many schools in the same area to organise their proms on the same night. Not a problem you may think but in reality, this is a catastophic mistake. You want to arrive in a new limo with your mates but you quiet simply, can't find one because a neighbouring school announced their prom before yours and all the limos in your area are fully booked. One limo company reported that they had over 3000 phone calls for the 30th of June yet they only had 2 limos. Another reported that some mothers of people that had not booked limos were attempting to cancel limousines that were booked out in order to get car free for their own kids........ A discusting thing to do but that is how desperate things can get.. The same goes to those of you wanting to hire tuxedos, it just can't be done if the rest of your area has a prom that night..... Here are some tips to help make the night go as planned...

1 Make sure that your school announces your prom as early as possible

2 If you have freinds at another local schools, find out their prom dates and let the teachers know that this would be a bad date to have yours

3 Don't hang around!!! When your date is announced, book your limo, tuxedo and hair appointment.

4 Be suspisious of limo companies that use library shots of cars on their websites and not actual pics of their own cars.... This often means that they are hiding the condition of their vehicles

5 Get everything in writing... tuxedo hire, limos, appointments etc..

6 If you are going as a group, make sure that the people who are booking limos, give you a copy of the paperwork.....
